The season to see humpback whales in Puerto Vallarta starts December 8th, 2025. You should book your trip early.

You’ll get the chance to see these amazing animals up close while relaxing on our boat and enjoying the view of the ocean. Our expert guides know the area well and will take you to the best spots to see the whales in their natural habitat.

Whales come to Puerto Vallarta to breed and rear their young. The best time to see them is from January to February, but you may see them as early as November or as late as May.

Whale watching with us is a responsible activity to protect the whales’ population in the area. We use hydrophones to listen to the whales’ songs and respect their space. You’ll also have the chance to see dolphins, rays, and sea turtles.

We have a big fleet of vessels and boats, which improves your chances of seeing the whales during the season. Our guides have many years of experience and participate in research projects to learn more about marine life.

Our specialized team, part of RABEN, has the training to save humpback whales and other marine mammals from fishing nets. With us, you’ll have the chance to see these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat and take unforgettable photos and videos.
