Standard transfers for scattered arrivals:
From one to 10 FIT passengers arriving on any given flight at any given time. Rate is based on agency providing volumes of 10 to 500 passenger arrivals annually.
Rate includes:

  • Professional "Meet & Greet" service
  • Round trip transfers to / from airport / hotel using air-conditioned
    sedan or van
  • Tour Vallarta representation services

Standard transfers for charter groups:

Large number of wholesale passengers where the majorities arrive on specific scheduled and charter flights.
Rate is based on agency providing volumes of more than 1000 passengers annually.
Rate includes:
  • Professional "Meet & Greet" service
  • Round trip transfers to / from airport / hotel using air-conditioned
    sedan, van or bus
  • Tour Vallarta representation services

VIP transfer services:


Specialty transfer used to transport VIP clients. Great for creating a sense of importance!
Commonly used for company executives, golfers and honeymooners.
Also used for Incentive Group Leaders (reduced special rates apply with incentive programs).
Rate is based on a minimum of two passengers.
    Rate includes:
  • Private "Meet & Greet" service in customs area
  • Use of luxury lounge in airport upon arrival
  • Bottle of water and cold scented towel to refresh face and hands
  • Baggage handling
  • Private round trip transfers to / from airport / hotel using air-conditioned luxury vehicles
  • Tour Vallarta representation services

Incentive Group transfers:



Custom upscale transfers designed for the Incentive market.
Rate is based on minimum 15 passengers.

  • Beverage (bottle of water or refreshment) and cold scented towel to refresh hands and face

TRANSFER VEHICLES

Policies regarding transportation equipment used in the transfer of passengers are divided in two general groups as follows:


Airport to hotel transfers
Note regarding local airport laws & procedures:
The PVR airport administration licenses only two specific taxi companies at the airport. Those companies are TPV and AEROMOVIL (Tour Vallarta’s corporate partners). These are the only two taxi companies allowed to give small vehicle (sedan or suburban) transportation services from the airport. The airport administration allows Coach companies to offer transportation only when the request is made in writing at least 48 hours in advance and airport access fees are paid.

All transfer vehicles used to provide transportation to our passengers are owned by our parent company Aeromovil. Aeromovil owns over 90 taxi units in addition to four coaches. Our taxi units include Ford Contour, Dodge Stratus, Ford Mondeo, Suburbans, Club Wagons, Ram Wagon and Grand Marquis. Our coaches are the finest vehicles on the market and include air conditioning, TV, VCR, microphone and bathroom facilities. All vehicles have proper insurance coverage, and immaculate maintenance records. We pride ourselves as having the newest and cleanest taxi fleet at the Puerto Vallarta Airport in addition to the best dressed and groomed drivers.

Hotel to airport transfers
Note regarding transportation laws from hotels:
Each hotel is designated a taxi site from the government transportation department. Only those taxis designated at each hotel are allowed to provide transportation to passengers. All taxis are small vehicles (sedan) that can hold 2-3 adults (exception: few taxi sites have mini vans available). No other small vehicles (taxis or van) are allowed to provide transportation to passengers. The transportation department allows coach services to provide transportation only when there are more than 15 passengers being pick-up. If coach services are required to transport more than 15 passengers to the airport, a special permit/pass (only good for one transfer) must be requested at least 48 hours in advance from the tourism bureau and municipal transportation department. This permit is then shown to taxi drivers upon arriving at the hotel. If a permit was not obtained or if there are less than 15 passengers being boarded the taxi drivers will stop the coach from leaving the hotel premises forcing passengers to use taxis.


Transportation from the hotels to the airport is limited to either sedan or coach service (exception; few taxi sites have mini vans available). If there are less than 15 passengers, transfers are provided using the best vehicles from the hotel taxi site. Most vehicles are two to four years old. If there are more than 15 passengers, coach service is then provided by our parent company.

Transfers to events
Vehicles used for transfers within two general locations for the purpose of events or some other activity are done in a similar fashion as “Hotel to airport transfers” mentioned above.

· TRANSFER OPERATIONS
Policies regarding transfer operations are divided in two general groups as follows:

Airport to hotel transfers
Once a flight has arrived all ground handler staff assist passengers. The transfer manager organizes buses and taxis prior to arrival and designates bus numbers and location of travel. Two airport staff hold ___________ signage for arriving passengers and direct them to the buses. At each bus there are two Tour Vallarta representatives to greet passengers, assist them with their luggage, give them their welcome guides, remove transfer vouchers (if applicable) and help them on the bus. Those passengers not designated to a bus are directed to Tour Vallarta representatives in the arrival area where they are quickly briefed then Tour Vallarta staff assist passengers with their luggage (when applicable) and brought to their transportation (taxi or Suburban). All passengers traveling in taxis are not usually accompanied by Tour Vallarta staff due to space limitations. All passengers traveling on buses are accompanied by Tour Vallarta representatives and briefed during the ride. Upon arrival at each hotel the representative will escort passengers to reception and inquire about room status to ensure smooth check-in before continuing to next hotel.

Hotel to airport transfers
A Tour Vallarta transfer employee presents himself/herself at hotel 15 minutes prior to transfer time to ensure that buses have arrived or to analyze which taxis they will use based on cleanliness of vehicle and driver. Five to 10 minutes before transfer time transfer staff will walk around lobby area with ____________ signage and advise passengers to get ready. Transfer staff will provide customer service questionnaires (if applicable) to passengers to fill out for quality control program. Staff will then start boarding them on the coach or put them into taxis accordingly while collecting their transfer vouchers (if applicable) and questionnaires. If passengers are missing, Tour Vallarta staff will call their room to see if passengers are still in their room. Staff will wait as much as five minutes past the transfer time in case there is anyone missing and do one more walk around lobby area with signage before leaving. Transfer staff cannot permit themselves to wait any longer than five minutes as they need to go to their next hotel. If anyone is missing, the Tour Vallarta representative will have bell boys sign their transfer orders just prior to leaving (in case any guest at the airport claim that no one came to pick them up). During ride to airport, transfer person will advise passengers to have travel documents ready upon arrival, help with luggage removal, and give general directions to check-in area.

Transfers to events

Operations for transfers within two general locations for the purpose of events or some other activity are done in a similar fashion as “Hotel to airport transfers” with the exception that more flexibility is provided as these are private transfers.
